The six icons in this series entitled Grace represent in turn: the Virgin of tenderness, Christ in majesty, Saint Gabriel, Saint Michael, Saint Nicholas, and Saint Alexander Nevsky (tempera with fine gold highlights, on a wooden panel covered with canvas, glue, and several layers of coating, in keeping with traditional iconographic technique).
